If you download the Windows 11 Enterprise from the Microsoft Evaluation Center

However it is an evaluation version, You can see it will expire after 90 days at lower right corner , and it can’t be activated with a retail Windows 11 Enterprise key !

Microsoft does not officially support converting evaluation versions to full retail versions through direct activation. Attempting to input a valid product key into an evaluation version typically results in activation errors.

You can perform an in-place upgrade using a full-version ISO file to transition from an evaluation version to a fully licensed Windows 11 with Windows 11 Enterprise retail key.

1. Open this Skus folder, the path is: C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\skus .
You can see there is only Enterprise Eval file in the folder .

2. Download the “Enterprise” folder from https://mskeysoft.com/download/Enterprise.rar or here, and you can also ask for the retail Windows 11 Enterprise edition Download from the Mskeysoft support !
then decompress the rar file and copy the Enterprise Folder to the Skus folder

3, Please run the CMD as administrator, then run these commands one by one !

cscript.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /upk >nul 2>&1
cscript.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ckms >nul 2>&1

cscript.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /ipk NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K-2YT43
sc config LicenseManager start= auto & net start LicenseManager
sc config wuauserv start= auto & net start wuauserv

NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K-2YT43 is a Windows 11 Enterprise generic key, it will only help you to convert to Windows 11 Enterprise edition, but won’t activate it

4, Now you have successfully converted the Windows 11 Enterprise Evaluation version to Windows 11 Enterprise retail version

6, Now you can select “change product key” and input the Windows 11 Enterprise retail product key that you purchased to activate it

Method 2: Converting Using Command Prompt (Recommended)

This is the most straightforward method to convert your evaluation copy:

1. Press Windows + X and select “Windows Terminal (Admin)”
2. In the command prompt, type: slmgr /dlv to check your current license status
3. If it shows “EVAL” in the description, proceed with the conversion
4. Type the following command:

   slmgr /upk

   This removes the current product key

5. Now enter:

   slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

   (Replace X’s with your legitimate Windows 11 Enterprise product key. e.g- XGVPP-NMH47-7TTHJ-W3FW7-8HV2C)
6. Finally, activate Windows with:

   slmgr /ato
